This is probably my most popular location. Right outside Corvallis, it only takes a short hike to the viewpoint and has beautiful mountain views and tall grass. It looks great in the winter. Just make sure you bring some shoes you don't mind getting muddy. Sometimes the bottom part of the trail can be muddy in the rainy months.
I love this spot. It is off a parking area across from the Point Restaurant so super easy to access and shows great views of the mountains and lake.
Silver Falls is a beautiful spot year round but especially if there is snow. There is a $45 travel fee for this location.
This covered bridge in Lacomb is one of my favorite spots when it looks like rain is the forecast and rescheduling isn't an option. It has open walls which let in lots of light and has beautiful views on both sides. There is also a small park with access to the river if it's not raining.
The Santiam Pass is a good spot for guaranteed snow most of the winter. If this is what you are going for, we will just pick a spot along the pass past Sweet Home that has the right amount of snow. There is a $45 travel fee for this area.
This beautiful forest has paths, wooden bridges, a big barn, and an old house. Plenty of options for creativity to showcase the PNW's beauty.
My studio in Lebanon is always a great option if you love a minimal look or if the weather is too extreme to be comfortable outside.
