About 15 minutes south of Corvallis, this winery is such a beautiful spot. They have specific hours when visitors are allowed so we will have to make sure it works with the shoot time.
This is probably my most popular location. It only takes a short hike to the viewpoint and has beautiful mountain views and tall grass. Wildflowers pop up in the spring and the grass turns dry and golden in the summer. The path can be muddy in the winter/spring so bring some good shoes. It also tends to get windy in the summer and fall months.
Simpson Park in Albany has a beautiful little area in the spring full of flowers and lush green grass (Usually blooming mid April). It is right next to the parking lot so easily accessible for people of all ages. The grass dries up and turns golden in the summer.
This beautiful venue is right outside Lebanon on Hwy 34 and has a nice field, tall trees, and a garden area. It gets very muddy in the spring so late spring-summer is the best time to go.
Mary's Peak is the highest point in the Oregon Coast Range. It has beautiful views and gets lots of snow in the winter. This location has an additional $45 travel fee.
The State Capitol cherry blossoms are stunning. It can be a little tricky to get the timing right since the blossoms don't last long. Usually they are in full bloom in late March. Deepwood Gardens is another beautiful spot in Salem that has a variety of flowers and foliage.
My studio in Lebanon is always a great option if you love a minimal look or if the weather is too extreme to be comfortable outside.
